the author makes the connection, people see AI as Asbestos, shoved in everything by profit hungry corps that don't care about what damage it will do in the long term.

Seattle has been screwed over so many times in the last 20 years that its a shell of itself.

hey, while I have you here Mr CEO, why are you comfortable allowing abusive cops the tech to stalk and harass former partners, I've met women that had ex husbands in the FBI that kept chasing them across country to continue the abuse and your camera systems help enable those acts.

Would you mind sharing with everyone else what you are talking about, its very vague with the descriptor of "something similar" doubly questionable with you use of calling humans leeches, when the only leeches i've seen in the business world were the companies that require labor to make money and then pay back a less than equitable amount to the people doing work.

nah, i went from apprentice to lead installer in under 3 years, there is full training programs for the trades, but you will most likely get injured out before retirement so a lot of people won't even go that route. Until the trades are capped at 30 hours a week, you're going to injure out most of your workforce.

It is really hard on bodies.

this is a perfect example of the VC churn, they hope to get unattainable and unsustainable results and don't care what happens to anyone that was doing it sustainably before they came around.

The internet has become total garbage now all because a few men wanted to make a bunch of money by making silicon do the thinking for them.

AI is the quickest route to ruin and ending up with humans like in Idiocracy devoid of critical thinking, and the output of LLMs is so bad to read, students are just turning in the worst papers using LLMs and learning nothing.

At first my school banned use of them but then Microsoft tipped their hand because they donate a lot of money and now everyone is allowed to use AI and they got rid of the requirement to use MLA Citations so everything turned into slop.

Former Pebble and Pebble Time owner and these kinda feel, meh in 2025. The Pebble roadmap seemed like it had more potential back in the day with experimental bands that didn't really materialize.

Hoping once they actually release and we find out if the targets are hit or not with battery life and water resistance.

I just hope they don't release limited color cases again and not have any left for warranty support as happened with my Blue Pebble and all they could offer was a Black one.

Bottom is about to drop out thats why, ethics are out the window already and its gonna be worse as they claw to stay relevant.

Its a niche product that tried to go mainstream and the general public doesn't want it, just look at iPhone 16 sales and Windows 11, everyone is happier with the last version without AI.
