Which is it? A random coffee shop or a Starbucks.

In the USA, I could leave my laptop at a small town coffee shop without any trouble, but never a Starbucks, which are only in larger towns and cities.

As a GenX dad and now grandfather, I couldn't be happier to read this.

Every dad wants his sons to be a better father than he was. Glad to see it happening.

Nothing strengthens the knees like the weight of responsibility.

I had to click and read to satisfy my curiosity of what "life restoration" was in this context.

I was expecting Jurassic Park action but found the old illustrations to be surprisingly delightful.

I remember doing research in the print version of the World Factbook back in college days. It was the most accurate and up-to-date info we could get on countries before the Interwebs. RIP.

Because the 'protesters' are all riled up against 'the law' and will see these troops as opponents (like they see ICE). They'll attack the troops first and I firmly believe federal troops will respond (in defense) violently and in unison. That's the training.

Minnesota has no clue how serious a can of whoop-ass they're about to pry open.

I'd love to buy a Hilux in the US but they aren't available. Drove them in South America for years and they're great vehicles.

FWIW - I deleted my linkedin about a year ago and I've received more spam since I deleted it than when it was active.
