Very nice! At first the buttons didn’t do anything and I thought it was not mobile friendly. I quickly realized I was in a browser with JS disabled.

Maybe add some error handling around that?

You just increment the month. March 20 m+1 is April 20.

If the date is invalid, like January 30 m+1 then you fallback to next valid date, February 28/29.

I found the demo a bit underwhelming, if only because it was guided. However I must admit the scene on the mountain, in front of the piano, and on the football pitch were amazing.

If that is the future of content, sign me up.

I got a used LEAF a few months ago, it’s got a new battery. Perfect fit for my urban driving. FWIW I’ve been using it only with 120V at home, and the occasional level 2 charge at work without issue.

This is fitting. I just spent 99 minutes trying to register my kid for summer camps. Eventually got a “payment has been processed redirecting to receipt” message… which errored out.

I do this on my HomePod mini all the time. Take last apple out of fridge? “Siri, add apples to my grocery list.”

Boom, done. Synced with my wife too. This is using the Apple Reminders though, as it seems to have less friction than third party apps…

Indeed. All I need to know about gas is that I paid $50 this morning for ~450km of range. While my EV would take multiple charges to get that range, the total cost would be only a few dollars.

We know product placement has been a round for decades.

While I do enjoy the digital kiosk for efficiency; they are limited in what they can do.

Example from moments ago: my phone carrier is offering extra data - but when I tried to add it to my account online it said it was for new customers only.

I called customer service, asked politely and the agent was more than happy to oblige.

Sometimes, especially in edge cases, having a human work around the system on your behalf yields the most benefits.

The ecosystem “just works”. I don’t have to fight and configure things to work. I haven’t used an Android device since 2015 but is there any compelling feature (on either side) to sway someone one way or another.

I’ve never understood why anyone would prefer to live in the ecosystem of the world’s largest advertiser.
