I'm confused. What's the age definition of child? 12, 15, 18? Does this mean its against the law for children to install an operating system? What is the penalty for a child doing this and putting the wrong age or just doing it at all? What is the penalty for a parent or guardian of the child that does this? What happens to the parent or child if the child circumvents this control? Will child services be involved? Criminal penalties? Of course the only way to know an adult is the administrator is to tie the users government I'd to the account. Could this be done in some zero knowledge anonymous way? Sure, but I don't think it's likely. This seems to be the thin end of yet another wedge. The trend seems to be to be that we should be identified and survield every moment of our lives. The question is who does this surveillance serve? How much access do you have to your government or employer's data or advertisers or educators or ...? How does their access serve you?

In Philadelphia PA wait staff in restaurants are paid less than $3 an hour. Yes they get tips. So does the wait staff in NYC that get $15 an hour. I was told this by my daughter who worked in both places. Any discrepancy with the $ is mine.

Cheap and cutting corners might be better described as externalizing costs. As we know increasing shareholer value trumps all. That being said our civilization would have to roll back to something like the 1800s level of technology. I'm not advocating for this, medicine and transportation can not exist without plastic, but our clothing furniture and rugs and other items don't have to be. And plastic recycling doesn't have to be a joke. But we can't expect shareholders to interalize those costs and not get as rich as fast as possible, can we? After all it will be someone else who will be affected by the wanton distraction of the environment.

I'm in the US. When I was obtaining medical power of attorney for a family member my attorney advised me to not opt for organ donation because if they don't use the organ, the donor or the estate will be charged for the removal, storage and disposal. This should be in bold print at the top of the form. If donation drops as a result maybe the medical establishment shoudn't do that.

>population goes to zero.
Maybe, but I doubt it.
>A possible solution to the fertility problem that has not been tried yet is paying families a real lot of money — a can’t-ignore-it amount of money — to have children. Millions of dollars!
If you do a search on this: "children food insecurity usa" you might find we seam to have a problem feeding the ones we have. This could be part of the problem. We might like to break off some $$ for the kids, and maybe for housing and job training too.
