Good point, but I abused it pretty well and it seemed to do OK - was also in a water bottle holder so closer to the legs than anything.

An hour and a bit each way, took about as much time as public transit and better than a coffee for waking up. A good road bike goes a long way, and the suburbs suck for road sharing but are great for not having to stop at many lights.

The winters were rough though.

When I was commuting 60k/day on my bike in shitty suburban conditions, I used one of these instead - you get limited use per trip, but you can always fill it up with a CO2 cylinder/bike pump:

Ling is okay, but a bit formal. My partner is Cambodian as well so having her help with what's "valid" or not helps a lot.

The best resource is a personal tutor, they're really affordable on Italki or Preply ($10-15/hr). I can recommend one in particular if you're interested - it's actually the same person as this youtube channel (which is also a good resource): https://www.youtube.com/@Dara-TheKhmerLesson

As an learning (and conversational) Khmer speaker, I tried the Khmer module.

It's an absolute disaster in both romanization of Khmer characters and pronounciation. Simple words like 'arkun' are pronounced _very_ incorrectly and the romanization is incomprehensible.

Great post! Any idea how the turbo button worked? It seems like, given the transistor difference between the 8086 and 386, that merely decreasing the clock frequency wouldn't be enough?

Are you really quoting fucking human trafficker Andrew Tate on economics?

Electronic funds transfer (including credit cards) increase the velocity of money significantly. This means more transactions, which means more overall wealth creation.

To say nothing of the fact that of that 1.5% fee, I'm recovering most, all, or more than it with things like cashback, rewards points, etc.
