I'm not taking sides here, but it seems the government might want to soldiers to quarter in my home, search my refrigerator, and seize my lemon pound cake. These anti-slavery protestors have been well-equipped with Constitutional protections and occasionally resistant to infringements. I have no knowledge. Obviously, media corporations should have more rights than human beings for the purposes of explaining why everything is just absolutely fantastic.

No one is making you engage with uninteresting content anymore than they are making you moan about the quality/actionability of discourse -- or complain about anything for that matter. In fact, you can even click the more link to see the 2nd page to find your favorite form of escapism while the grownups talk.

You saw a thing, it made you feel feelings, you decided you wish it wasn't presented to you, and you interpreted that scenario as a call to action to urinate in the swimming pool because you didn't like the temperature of the water.

I don't disagree with you about the encumbrance and impractically, but the live streaming providers could eventually become unreliable or compromised in a number of ways (genAI, political pressure, advocacy for an agenda of its leadership)

She can be both, she will become lots of things over time depending on agenda. Her background was decidedly under-reported, for a few justifications, including preventing a preferred audience from sympathizing with the victim.

Not sure what your point is other than volume of information available increases over time.

Everytime there a post containing a whiff of negative sentiment related to the 2024-2028 US administration, a wave of elective sociopaths swoop in to flag posts and derail discussion. Even if they understand the merit of the material, they will bemoan the political aspect. Even if they agree with the sentiment, there is absolutely an audience that prefers to ignore any sense of personal responsibility or culpability, however small, to the environment today-- and choose to attempt to stifle discussion broadly instead of politely allowing others to meaningfully engage with it. I believe this activity boils down: 1) agenda or 2) stubbornly evading shame/guilt

Justice obstructs itself. FBI can stare at the background of this American white single mother and accomplished poet until their eyes permanently cross (oop), but they will have to fabricate material to suggest she was a radicalized domestic terrorist. AI slop will become an acute problem for FOIA as well.

Given the argument around YC effectively "cancelling" naughty list founders. The John Wick Excommunicado poster for illustration is an interesting choice because John Wick is the hero of the series and is constantly being threatened by the institution that both created and emancipated him only to try to destroy him later. Not sure how intentional, but Reeves himself is beloved figure and often noted as a paragon of hard work and integrity in a grimy industry despite a reputation as a "bad actor".
