It works offline and the files are stored locally on your own computer. I agree with your sentiment and that's actually why we built it like this. Browser gives multiple device support, faster incremental updates, bug fix etc. And it gives an easy way to share/cooperate/review with other people

My friend and I have been working on Arcad for some months now. It's a free browser-based parametric CAD tool aimed at hobbyists and makers.
It has editable feature history, solid modeling powered by OpenCascade, STEP export and touch controls for tablets, although it's primarily made for PC use. Everything runs in the browser and you can try it without creating an account or installing anything.
Currently in beta although we feel like it's ready for a full launch. Any feedback is appreciated!
Link: https://app.arcad.studio

EU allows overreach from government, but limits corporations. And pretends for it to be about rights, but in practice it's about keeping the overreach to themselves (the government).

Yeah that's maybe too hot actually. But it actually matters which colour/finish your Mac is. The black one gets significantly hotter than the silver in the sun. I sometimes "hang" my shirt behind/on the top edge so that it blocks the sunlight, that also cools it down quite a lot. Enjoy though:)

I made a free macOS App Store app that unlocks higher brightness (actually higher nits, not just a color filter). It works by forcing HDR content. I've only tested it on my MacBook Pro 14" M5, but I assume it works on most modern macbooks.
The description says "The best screen poster", but it's meant to say "The best screen booster" (overly aggressive autocorrect in macOS probably).
Youtube link to see how it works here:
https://youtu.be/oQYE0r_UIzE

A headline and 20 comments and no mention of what this party actually stands for. Only simple labels such as "far-right". Ehh. The Republican Party in America is EXTREMELY far right by Swedish standards. So maybe one should base this on the actual substance rather than labels?

If the data consumed (required to train such a model) is open source/openly available/public data somehow, then a majority of the revenue belongs to the public as well. Such as the philosophy behind the Norwegian oil fund etc.

It's basically an app for saying "I'm ready" or "Let's do x...".
Background is that my friend group plays video games, grabs beer or whatever - and a lot of the communication revolves around logistics. This app lowered the threshold for initiating. We create a group per activity, and "going green" means you're ready. The other group members get a push notification "Paul is greenlit!" and the title of the group is "Play Dota 2" or "Beer at local pub". Super simple concept, but it actually works.
TLDR; I made an app that let's you press a button instead of writing the typical "Does anyone want to join x activity?"
Currently iPhone only.

Yes please! I have been frustrated with the state of object detection models especially. Everyone claims SOTA. So you end up having to test manually to find out which one actually is. And unlike LLM's, it should be pretty easily quantifiable.
