A lot like humans, really. People regularly cite something they read, or quote a stat that turns out to be just completely inaccurate. But if you look up the thing, then you have facts again.

Very cool. I'm surprised that it is so hard to stitch the frames together, and requires acceleration data. Naive I guess, but I was imagining you could simply examine the frames and work out how to join them nicely in code.

It'd be cool to see some ridiculously wide, scrollable images from this process.

I think so that you can take antibiotics early and prevent actually getting Lyme disease.

That's an awfully big assumption. For starters, you're assuming that the browser window itself is centered on the screen, and that the device is centered in front of the user.

I don't think this is the point of centering an element horizontally at all, and the result you have created here is not at all what I as a user want.

Are there any off the shelf e-readers which support this firmware? This site seems to be for people who want to solder together their own e-reader from components.

Also, it does a bit misleading to say "Charging, battery protection, an optional frontlight and a 24-pin e-paper interface, all on one PCB you can build for around $60." According to their own parts lists, if you are build 5 of these, you're in for $63.74 (plus shipping?) So if you want just one (like a normal person), it's going to cost more. And that's still just the circuit board and components: no mention of the outer plastic casing. (I can't find any info on their site about how to get that - presumably 3D print, but haven't found plans.)

I'm fascinated that I have never heard of this, even though I did use IRC during that early 2000s era.
