Everyone has tools they are most comfortable with.

Postgres and PGVector works for me.

Elastic search always wants a lot of resources and takes a long time to populate, requiring the JVM is yet another thing to add and configure too.

You can have a system that generally isn't one of zero sum games that was that at the same time can become one when it becomes extremely unbalanced (e.g. when billionaires exist).

I think this type of IDE was one of my favourites over the years.

There were things that tried to reproduce it like RHIDE I could never quite get on with, but this looks just about perfect.

We should rename AI psychosis The AI Delusion, since it's really about people being deluded (often that it can do everyone else's job not there's) and because ironically Richard Dawkins seems to have fallen fully into being fully deluded by it.

I tried fable yesterday and the code quality is just as lacking as every other model.

I asked it to add one thing to a function in the static blog pelican.

So, while it worked, it took no account of what was already in the function and made a bunch more stuff.

I'm talking about something that I'm the end is a 3 to 5 line patch.

The default is still tech debt, but now we burn way more energy.

That rules it out for all sorts of apps.

I've worked on a few apps for UKGov and I would absolutely be raising this as a massive red flag.
