I'm a big fan of Cold War-era thriller films
there're also some good spy films at that time, but these are not as cool as thrillers such as The Thing and Invasion of the Body Snatchers
unfortunately or fortunately, there hasn't been such brilliant films since the end of the Cold War(I like The Facult, but it is not that good)
fortunately or unfortunately, I believe that such brilliant films are about to make a comeback

opinions like this always lead to two types of comments:
- the worst democracy is better than the best dictatorship (we are not the worst, others could be worse)
- the system is good and perfect, it's just a few bad actors ruining it (we can fix it as long as we fix these certain bad actors)

> But maybe just switch jobs if you are that upset about it?
That's the gentler way to strike.
As members of the working class, we technically have the freedom to choose which employer we sell our labor to - but we are forced to sell our labor an employer to survive
So, in reality, it's hard
It's like saying, "But maybe just don’t get sick if you can’t afford medical treatment"

> "We know that China believes there is value in placing at least some elements of our core infrastructure at risk of destruction or disruption," said Mike Rogers, a former director of the U.S. National Security Agency
> "That effectively means there is a built-in way to physically destroy the grid," one of the people said
It's very concerning, especially with the Spain and Portugal blackout being so recent

I agree, india can still win even if a couple of planes are lost
in fact i think it's a very good mindset as it helps avoid further escalation of the war
> India has the money to replace any losses and buy more from any supplier in the world (we also have a homegrown defense industry). The Pakistanis are stuck with the export version duds that the Chinese supply them.
Agree, India has the money to buy 6 more Rafales, however, I believe the J10CE might offer better cost-performance and could be worth considering
