IMHO this is clear case of correlation vs causation…
This generation of kids were fucked so hard by Covid and all the remote “schooling” and closing of public life.
AI rise happens to be happening when the kids who were just entering teens at Covid time are now going to school.

Something is very wrong about this whole release. They nerffed security research... they are making tokens usage increase 33% and the only way to get decent responses is to make Claude talk like a caveman... seems like we are moving backwards... maybe i will go back to Opus 4.5

The definition of “disposable income” used in this chart is gross income minus taxes.
I don’t think this corresponds with what most people think that means. i.e. gross income - (taxes + housing costs + food + health/childcare). I certainly didn’t.

Wikipedia would seem to disagree:
> “ However, use of NetBus has had serious consequences. In 1999, NetBus was used to plant child pornography on the work computer of a law scholar at Lund University. The 3,500 images were discovered by system administrators, and the law scholar was assumed to have downloaded them knowingly. He lost his research position at the faculty, and following the publication of his name fled the country and had to seek professional medical care to cope with the stress. He was acquitted from criminal charges in late 2004, as a court found that NetBus had been used to control his computer.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetBus
