Fair points. I notice it's not hiding as much from me as earlier versions. It's telling me exactly where it has gaps, where someone might be critical of what it did. Then it's easy for me to adjust. Before it used to lie or just not tell me. Feels like it is acting more like a senior that has enough game and credibility to just tell it like it is. It's noticable in only a few long prompts so far.

I think we could run for at least a decade further with no model changes/improvements, just better harnesses and infra around this agentic way of developing.

Used it for a couple of long running prompts so far. Had to restart one that bonked on API errors. Of note, I really like the straight forward candor its using. 'More honest' than previous models is playing out in what its saying to me. Telling me straight up where it failed, where gaps are. I like it so far.

Just swap 'Honesty' with 'correctness in its claims' and you'll get what you need out of this aspect of the model description.

The implication that this somehow weakens Alberta’s constitutional status is false. Alberta is a full province under the Constitution of Canada with the same constitutional standing as the other provinces.
The Supreme Court has already ruled that Canada and other provinces would be obligated to negotiate terms of separation should a province ever vote to leave in a clear referendum.
Yes, support for leaving is probably at 10-20%. Just having the referendum will build the infrastructure and political machinery for keeping it alive for a long time from the first try. I live here and I'm not a fan of Smith for encouraging it at all.

We already have a clause in our constitution to allow for orderly withdrawal from Canada. We'd have to resolve the first Nations angle which would probably be more of a hurdle.

I'm finding sound judgment, common sense, technical depth and breadth, a feel for the UX are skills that amplify Agentic coding. Deep knowledge of the problem domain and time with the customer (or SME's or end users) are what build these. Outsourcing this will never work, you can't put someone 12 hours ahead of the timezone your serving in front of the customer.

On one hand, there's nothing new under the sun. On the other, these llms are just copies of us and they owe the collective some due. The trajectory right now has money, power, control, policy and even free will going to a very small needle point of humanity. It's not aligned with humanity flourishing, it only makes sense if the goal is to replace the humans.
