TL;DR Nonsense "study"

A study for real world risks based on a videogame, of all things? Its impossible to directly map the experience of being behind the wheel in real life to a game, and the article doesn't even mention whether it's an actual simulation (like beam.NG), game-like (as in Assetto Corsa), or plain arcade fantasy (GTA, Need for Speed) OBVIOUSLY people are gonna play games in a more fun/different way under the influence They even admit that inhaled usage showed little to no consistency in driving difference Bias disclaimer: I stopped consumption some time back

Quite disappointing whenever I see this type of...of censorship, would this be considered??? I am sure there are many interesting perspectives and this is not the first occurrence of burying comments and/or responses that I have observed as a longtime lurker

Truly intriguing! A core2duo+4GB RAM in 2026?!?!!!

Can you elaborate on your experience? I can't imagine 20tabs being smooth on 8GB with the modern "web" being whst it is today, let alone 4GB! Unless there is only text files and plain HTML in those 20 tabs???

There are no extensions besides uBlock Origin and Saka Key running Only a single message with some short text and code is open This is on a "cold start" after installing updates 16GB is definitely nowhere near enough anymore, it's almost like how 2GB was in 2016

Its absolutely senseless to take on a position on something when not knowing what's coming from both sides

I'd presume this place to be frequented by those who would also find it similarly foolhardy to be taking a stance on an issue when not all parties are privy to the same objectivity/impartiality (in terms of information and the different sides of the story)

Tbf after reading the article, it doesn't mention why thorium was abandoned in the 50s/60s Article doesn't mention how China's new thorium reactors are different and/or how they extended existing designs
