Remember, about a month ago Sam posted a comment along the lines of "AI will be capable of superhuman persuasion well before it is superhuman at general intelligence, which may lead to very strange outcomes".

The board was likely spooked by the recent breakthroughs (which were most likely achieved by combining transformers with another approach), and hit the panic button.

Anything capable of "superhuman persuasion", especially prior to an election cycle, has tremendous consequences in the wrong hands.

Precisely. I do utilize coworking spaces quite a bit, however I tend to go in on days where I don't have many calls scheduled. Also, my home office setup (ultra wide external monitor + 4K external camera and mic etc) wins when I actually need to be productive.

Yes, most coworking spots have phone booths, but they can tend to be claustrophobic and limited in availability.

The adaptation of "The Night Manager" is excellent IMO. It's a miniseries of sorts (only 6 episodes), however Hugh Laurie & Tom Hiddleston deliver top-notch performances. It's available on Prime Video and other streaming services in the US.
