This is exactly what we need to enable true embodied AGI - think “mirror neurons” but for robotics.
General-purpose humanoid robots capable of interfacing with our physical world will be one of humanity’s most pivotal innovations.
* [If you’re working at the intersection of machine perception & embodied AGI let’s get in touch!] *

Remember, about a month ago Sam posted a comment along the lines of "AI will be capable of superhuman persuasion well before it is superhuman at general intelligence, which may lead to very strange outcomes".
The board was likely spooked by the recent breakthroughs (which were most likely achieved by combining transformers with another approach), and hit the panic button.
Anything capable of "superhuman persuasion", especially prior to an election cycle, has tremendous consequences in the wrong hands.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: Not at this time.
Technologies/Skills: Technical product management, engineering management, data science, Python, SQL, AWS etc.
Email: hn [@] shree.io
I’m a senior technical product manager with over a decade of experience working in tech as a SWE, founder, product manager. I’ve built and scaled products & teams for companies in all sorts of industries (most recently in the healthcare/health tech space), and thrive in fast-paced environments where I'm able to drive engineering initiatives. I'm a hacker at heart, and love to prototype "moonshots" (currently working on a use case using LLM's for extracting insights from unstructured medical data).
I’m predominantly interested in technical product management/engineering management opportunities at companies in the AI space, but am open-minded to any organization whose mission I align with - ideally leveraging technology for accelerating human progress.

Precisely. I do utilize coworking spaces quite a bit, however I tend to go in on days where I don't have many calls scheduled. Also, my home office setup (ultra wide external monitor + 4K external camera and mic etc) wins when I actually need to be productive.
Yes, most coworking spots have phone booths, but they can tend to be claustrophobic and limited in availability.
