Hey HN.
Co-Founder here. We'd love to get your thoughts on our Code Store. We're positioning this as something that Devs / App Entrepreneurs can use as a starting point for their next project. Something to help jumpstart their App launch. We've got another 4 apps set to go live in the next few weeks. A Fitness app, Instagram style photos app, Weather app, e-Commerce app etc.
We'd also love to know your thoughts on what you think we should build next.
Be sure to use the code LAUNCH50 to get 50% off any of the code bases.

I agree with the above comment. I think you should allow your users to submit their startup via email or a form on the site. Quite a few people including myself would be reluctant to provide twitter access with the permissions above.
Another small note, there's a typo on the submit page above the button "Read to show your..." I think you meant *Ready ?
Good luck with it all.

Really well edited video. Shenzen seems like a crazy awesome place. One thing I noticed was how he would never haggle on the price. He would always accept straight up say yep ok. Either the prices were really good...or being an American he's not so used to the idea of having to haggle the price (or maybe he felt order size was too small to warrant a haggle). However when in Asia always and negotiate, otherwise you're just increasing the prices for the rest of the expats :)

We were 'Hunted' for our App (Hucnhapp) on PH this weekend. We were also hunted a few months ago for our iOS Framework (Redbeard). Both times it was by an influencer that was able to get it featured onto the homepage. Even though we were featured on a weekend both times it still led to thousands of visitors to our site (Approximately 7K in the case of Redbeard). Apparently weekdays leads to an order of magnitude greater.
It really can be a great way to seed early traction. Getting featured can also mean you're picked up by various other blogs and publications as it does lend some credibility with the tech blogs.
If you're looking to reach out to some influencers here's a great site that ranks them: https://www.yvoschaap.com/producthunt/

It's difficult to see the logic that some of these guys have with their "investment" cons. I really wonder the psychology of someone who'd go through a fake investment proposal like this. Do they just want to feel important? I recall a similar incident with someone on HN that I have saved from a few years back:

The source code is not available as it's a compiled framework however our plan is to soon launch a Marketplace of high quality end to end apps (think clones of Twitter/Instagram/Tinder etc) to give developers a boost when starting their projects. It's also a great way for new developers to learn iOS development.
