yes i ran into problem with distinguishing between ; and : as well on this monospace font. i'll say it was fun to try it and i used it for awhile but it isnt suitable for coding purposes. im much more happy now with a highly customizable font like Input[0] where i can make it as wide or as narrow as i like it to be and also customize the various characters
[0]: https://input.djr.com/

i'm using the Edge Dev browser on windows and i've noticed that whenever i open a new tab and type something into the address bar and press enter, the first thing i will see is "Waiting for api.msn.com...".
this still happens irregardless of the default search engine i use, i have switched between ddg, bing and you.com and the same behaviour is also observed.
i just learnt to use wireshark to capture network traffic and tried several ways to filter for api.msn.com and its related dns address and domain name (a-0003.a-msedge.net [204.79.197.203]) and i could not find anything. i also tried filtering for the ports which Edge contacted during the time frame when it was loading the page.
maybe im not using the filtering options in wireshark correctly?
maybe someone has a good idea about why there is this behaviour going on? i could not find any mention of this skimming through search results

i altered the default prompt to: Get me the top 5 non tech non stem related stories on Hacker News in markdown table format. Use columns like title, link, score, and comments.
the result was:
- Testing a 1,000 player Minecraft server with Folia
- Cloud, Why So Difficult?
- Build your own Docker with Linux namespaces, cgroups, and chroot
- OPNsense: Open-source security platform
- P1030680: Unbroken Enigma message (U534, 01 May 1945)
on a related note is there any search or aggregator that can consistently and accurately gather all non-tech non-cs related posts on hn?

yeah it's interesting how the visual cues for what would give people the impression of something being futuristic have mostly settled into certain styles even as we move forward in time. what could be the possible reasons for this?
