Those Casio watches are just amazing. I got legendary gw-5000u and it has become part of my body. I'm wondering how much 30+ year are feeling like author of this post. I for sure do not want any device that I need to babysit.

For me anything bigger then 27' is just too big. I also stopped working with two monitors.

Main thing that was contributing to that is Cosmic desktop environment is has amazing defaults and adaptive scaling and if I need two displays just put window in second workspace.

I had similar situation on WooCommerce shop. But it was much more signups per hour. Putting turnstile in front fixed problem.

My conclusion is to move from WordPress software as fast as possible, every WordPress site I manage gets bombarded by bots.

This is amazing. I have to test it with my reverse engineering workflow. I don't know how many people use CC for RE but it is really good at it.

Also it is really good for writing SketchUp plugins in ruby. It one shots plugins that are in some versions better then commercial one you can buy online.

CC will change development landscape so much in next year. It is exciting and terrifying in same time.

This looks like a response to Seedream 5.0 lite that was published two days ago.

I use all those fancy image models editing capabilities for my fast fashion web shop. I must say: product photography for clothing and accessories product is dead. Those models are amazing at style transfering and garment transferring.

We will see how good will be Seedream 5.0 full version.

To my uneducated eye it looks like they are stuck in limbo for 120 years. Nothing practical has been create based on those theories. It is just words and calculations spinning in circles.

I wish those people focus on practical real world physics. So we all can enjoy new innovations.

France cloud provider scalaway has great prices. In some services they are cheaper then AWS. So I think that devs just need to research a bit more.

Also Hetzner (germany) is super cheap when compared with US hosting providers.

I used CC in year age and it was not good. But one month ago I paid for max and started to rebuild my company web shop using it.

It is like plowing land with hand one year age and now is like I'm in brend new John Deere. It's amazing.

Of course its not perfect but if you understand code and problem it needs to solve then it works really good.

I have friends who wore going to Iran for business meeting. Friends are from former Yugoslavia state who still have connections to Iran. They export sparkplugs to Iran.

Interesting thing is that they say they never seen such a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. Also they said they filled up two full car tanks for ~5€.

Their conclusion is that people there live much better life(more fulfilling) then people in western countries.

Show HN: Regular MySQL Backup to Email

Hi, everyone. I got big flood last week. Weather was crazy and water got to my company warehouse. Luckily company local server was not in that room. Of course I was to lazy to set up any automatic off site db backup. But now I got it working. I wanna hear you thought? Is it smart to use email for db backup or should I just upload it to remote server?

For those lazy like me, try to setup this app and give it a go.
