In the US system, I'd be in favor of just having the House of Representatives by done via a sortition process. I have a hard time imagining the Senate and President being done that way... but maybe it actually wouldn't be any worse than the status quo!

This is an incredibly off-topic, but hopefully a fun fact for folks here.

There was a popular motivational speaker in the 80's and 90's named Zig Ziglar[0]. He was influential on Tony Robbins and his career.

Just shows even how a randomly generated name [1] may not be so unique!

Charles Petzold's book "Code" was the book that revealed the magic behind computers for me. While I don't fully understand everything that happens with a computer, there's a confidence that I could if I needed to. It made tough problems feel solvable in a way I hadn't felt in other disciplines.
