<p>I've unfortunately been doing alot of interviews. Leet code is common. Or "practical" which seems to more or less mean implement some kind of kv store class with some trick constraint.</p>

<p>You can have before and after data and track trends. How did you know the issues was wide spread in the first place. You must have some proof somewhere.<p>The impact is how many outages overall. If you only prevent one outage then maybe it's not that meaningful.<p>Your last paragraph, your right that happens in the short term. In the long term those teams get reputations for being a shit show, there will be high turnover, good engineers won't transfer in, people's compentaencies start to get questioned, other teams will avoid working with that team and develop their own solutions, and higher up people will start to look at what's going on.</p>

<p>Oh, I'm on the job market, unemployed and probably wont apply becasue of the contract. That's probably your reason for not getting the quality of candidate you're hoping for. that hourly range goes pretty low and doesn't give confidence that a potential employee won't get low balled</p>

<p>The person running the Ai needs to know to set up linting in the first place and have it be applied. It's not a default.<p>Ive had ai make code that doesn't pass a linter and make code look like hand aligned code.</p>

<p>Ime with sports and injuries. Doctors say alot of things, unless they are sports doctors that work with you to get back to sports or athletic them selves, they just give useless generic advice.<p>I lost a year becasue of doctors just telling me to rest for a constant pain I had.<p>Author should just go learn to snowboard. There's athletes out there competing with torn acls.</p>
