Has anyone ever told you to shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down? You’re NOT a good moderator despite what people say and this reaction ought to prove it to you. People like you NEVER bother to deal with any reactions other than “I’m great and everyone thinks so!”
I don’t think you’re great. I don’t think you’re doing a good job. At this point I don’t like you.
Serve your masters, servant. You have no morals yourself.

DOOM was a game about breaking the rules of the system, and considering even religion to be a system.
Religion, southern politics, John Carmack, coding, a perverse need for beer supplies and a politically maligned target means that I would be attempting to incite a flame war! In fact, merely by saying that I could tell a story which is controversial, humorous, and also part of the local legend is Inciting others to intense emotional reactions already. It also might offend the money here as it has stealing in it. Which is likely against the guidelines.
I cannot use the words I want to use because I would be censored or banned for them and I will include this rider to remind people this website actively policies TONE, CONTENT, and CONVERSATION.
This is my alt account. It’s mainly a story about how Romero likes to drink, Carmack has a bit of an inclination towards chemistry and explosives and a not-so-harebrained scheme for modern-day piracy. I’m so tired of typing out posts which I consider thoughtful and meaningful to deal with censorship and awful nonsense so I will decline. It would get downvoted anyway because it’s 100% not sensitive to sensitive people’s inclinations anyway.
I cannot use the words I want to use because I would be censored or banned for them and I will include this rider to remind people this website actively policies TONE, CONTENT, and CONVERSATION.
Disagree from experience. I find it far more likely that they considered how to skew the p-values low enough to where they become significant. “Personal pleasure” & “Empathetic feelings” do NOT sound like terms which correlate to reproducibility to me.

Based on their marketing and promotion around the original iPad release I was under the impression (at the time) that it might have these capabilities. I think this format is really exciting if it can be made to provide a consistent and seamless UX flow for mobile computing vs. a traditional desktop or server.

I know you’re joking around a bit, however I think this is a great example of an area that someone creative using the system could expound upon in a meaningful way. Things need not continue as they are!

We can also test how far most people can jump and their ability to memorize numbers or do arithmetic or algebra quickly. We don’t have a “movement quotient” or a “calculation quotient” so what exactly does an “intelligence quotient” aim to quantify precisely? It’s not intelligence, I’ll argue.

May I be the first to say that I’m not sure what “IQ” actually measures? Naturally I have the same understanding as most: IQ is supposed to be like Horsepower for brains. “This brain has so and so much more thinking ability than others”. Yet I find a curious phenomenon when spending time /with/ the brains of others through their work, writings, or speech: often my level of engagement or intellectual fulfillment that I gain has little to no correlation with their IQ. What IQ seems to fail in capturing is the human ability to be creative and unique; whereas I believe now one can design a sufficiently advanced AI/ML instance which could learn the patterns in this Mensa test, our ability to assess value and meaning from a perspective of “well they recognize certain types of patterns” seems carelessly limited. But that’s just my perspective.
:)
