Well, yes, but that’s an over simplification. My main concern is the instability. I don’t want to deal with a project that’s in turmoil and Cachy feels like a more stable project, even before reading any of this. It’s a larger user base and therefore more likely to stick around (or so I tell myself).

Bazzite made it so easy to switch from windows. I first tried cachyos but bazzite’s gamemode worked perfectly from the start, hdr and vrr included, on nvidia. Turned an expensive PC into an expensive console and made me so happy. Just the fact I can sleep the system mid-game and resume is magic!
Guess I gotta go back to cachy and try again. Bummer

Anyone know if it works with ADP? I emailed them months ago but no one ever replied.
On a related question, is there a download solution that does work with ADP? I’m looking to mitigate any potential account lockout issues for family members (and, no, they will not switch out of the ecosystem).

First line of the article:
> Jensen Huang, the chief executive of Nvidia, is the 10th-richest person in the United States, worth $127 billion
I haven't been paying attention to the bullshit that is nth-richest person but how the fuck is someone worth that much and is only in 10th place? Wasn't it not too long ago that $127B would have been 1st?

All this energy being burned to create shitty images, shitty music, and shitty videos that all amount to essentially shitty memes. I don’t understand how the singular focus isn’t on solving humanity’s problems.
We already have artists, we don’t have a cure for cancer or the climate crisis.

If you’ve never lived in a major urban area in the US, I imagine this might seem strange. People drive around with music playing loud enough that a crappy mic would easily pick it up.

That’s what bugs me about gen ai. How is it that all these resources are being used on recreating things that humans already do and not entirely focused on aging, health, and the climate?
We already have artists, we don’t have a cure for what we’ve done to the climate. It’s frustrating.

It feels like America innovates and the EU regulates.
Personally I’d like to see each do more of the other. But would that hamper the thing they’re doing better at? If America regulates more will there necessarily be less innovation?
For example, there are a number of bills in the CA legislature aimed at regulating the gen ai. I know that if CA makes these things illegal, they’ll just move to jurisdiction where it’s not.

This is great! Really nice on the eyes and well organized. It did take me a while to figure out what to look for though - as others have mentioned. I had to find the actual link on the GitHub page then browse the homepage to understand what it was. When I saw it though, I really liked it.
I'd love to see this expanded to non-software engineers. Artists, for example, could also use this.
edit: I spoke too soon. I see that artists can use this as well. The icon gallery needs a couple more, like Soundcloud, but the basics are there for everyone. Great job!
