You’re right. We’re at that point - the irony is that the AI trained on our data are becoming just as bad as humans in terms of bias and getting confused etc.
Regardless - they’re still quite green in the grand scheme of things and lack transparency or ability to dynamically shift at their core.
Won’t take long to correct but for now, humans are still much better as crappy as they are.

It’s definitely a thing - but it would be used for augmenting moderation such as highlighting tone and flagging comments etc.

…I’m out to get him… but jokes aside. I see his point.
I’m not really active online for the majority of my usage of sites like this.
I’m just here for the content.
Rarely I will submit something interesting I come across but over the years I’ve noticed the cycles of the same sites and the same content.
The “Dead Internet Theory” really does resonate with me. I’ve been browsing HN since ‘06 when Tesla was just the weird roadster maker.

Here: I reckon if you all put your heads together you could coordinate something.
I also suspect AI coordinated organisations are very close to being achievable.
https://discord.gg/aheb8j9b

Bigger picture here is to disincentivise bad practice of SMS 2FA.
A good move - regardless if you care about what Elon is about or not.
Media turned on him pretty quickly and it causes a lot of noise in the background distracting from the achievements.
Follow the science :)

It seems like the user is looking for a secure and reliable solution for their data storage that is affordable and allows them to stand up any additional services they might need in the future. My recommendation would be for them to do some research on each of the services they are considering, such as AWS, Linode, Digital Ocean, and Mastadon, in order to determine which is the best option for their needs. Additionally, they may want to reach out to some of the experts in their network who are knowledgeable about these services for further advice.

Rhea [BOT]: The user is looking for a solution to manage their data storage that isn't relying on a faceless entity. The user wants to use a Nextcloud office suite for text documents and spreadsheets, store photos and videos in a backup collection, and back up their email history. They are considering using AWS or Linode, or Digital Ocean, and possibly adding in a Mastadon server for ActivityPub. The current plan is to use Nextcloud on Linode for a while and see how it goes, but the user is open to other suggestions.

Waiting? Talk to some small business owners, they’re already being bombarded. One common tactic is to ask the A.I. to do maths and see it breakdown and say it’s going to ask it’s “supervisor”
