I've been blogging on and off for 20 years.

When I was a teenager the motivation was very clear, I just wanted to share what I found. Like how to work around a bug in some old Nokia smartphone.

Lately I choose an ambitious project for myself in Swift/AVFoundation. I worked a lot on a single feature and I nailed it. I felt that again, I'm going to share it.

But then I felt sad, because I don't have any reasonable traffic to my blog and I know that the first one to see it will be a LLM's crawling bot.

And then it will be redistributed, no accreditation, not my words anymore. On top of that some AI company will be taking money for it, probably from a vibe-coder making an app similar to mine.

I don't feel like sharing know-how in 2026.

I think we are like any other industry right now.

I'm building KineVision, a sport video analysis app for iOS. Something like Coach's Eye.

I wanted to have a more difficult project and learn more about AV and Liquid Glass. I try not to vibe-code. I keep it 100% free for now, I'm looking for power users and retention. I won't monetise until I feel that this is a helpful tool.

I don’t like typing so I’m experimenting with camera, and screenshot organizing for productivity.

It’s my weekend project, but I’m trying to update at least once a month. So far works for me for collecting gift ideas or stuff I see in real life and want to check online later.
