<p>Yes you can, but usually:<p>1) installing a k3s is just one of the things you want to do with a fresh server, so you can have all of the things bundled as a ansible playbook and k3s will just be a step in it.<p>2) often you want your infra as a code and be reproducible</p>

<p>I use official ‘ansible-playbook k3s.orchestration.site -i inventory.yml’ and it installs k3s over SSH and adds it into my kubectl context, all under 60s too.</p>

<p>It is a bit different. What happened to openclaw:<p>He created a new org “openclaw” to reserve the name. Then he wanted to swap it with “moltbot” org.<p>So he opened two browser windows, one with “moltbot” repo settings another with “openclaw” repo settings.<p>Then he renamed “openclaw” to whatever, and quickly tried to rename “moltbot” to now available “openclaw”.<p>But in a second when “openclaw” was available, a bot snatched the repo.</p>

<p>I think Meta’s AI strategy is to advance AI/ML that is beneficial for them, no more charity.<p>They need a good-enough LLM (llama) to cut content moderation costs, they need a good segmentation model (segment anything) for photo filters, AR/VR and photo/video content moderation.<p>For LLM frontier, they can wait it out to see AGI become a commodity they can buy after it is ready.</p>

<p>I tried exactly this - loading polygon.io data into TimescaleDB, and it was very inefficient.<p>Ended up using ClickHouse - much smaller on disk, and much faster on all metrics.</p>
