I find (on average) the Japanese VA to be much better then the English VA, also if you know Japanese, yes the dialogue may still be cringy but you aren't having to deal with translators adding/changing things.

They are not saying that we have to do everything here, they are saying: If you want to move your mfg. to a country that has less environmental regulation enforcement, labor law enforcement and other things that we care about here, then the goods you are shipping back should be tariffed accordingly.

If we as a people pass environmental laws & labor laws because we feel that these things are important then why are we accepting products that are made in violation of our standards.

Sample size of 1, for a couple years in Japan had no issue but then hit like a truck.

I have allergies to ragweed and didn't have spring allergies before that. Now back in the US and have spring allergies as well.

I find it funny how you are describing it and acting like it is bad. In most of the topics dealing with WFH and return to office, a large number of the comment were along this vain:

"I really hate going into the office because I don't want to have to socialize with my coworkers, I just want to be able to do my work and be done with my day."

While not saying the he was unalived, the FBI got very close when talking about how Cadets at Old Dominion killed the person who attacked them.

At my work we required a complex password <15 characters lower + cap, number and symbols.

Updated to Windows Hello and passkey.

Now I can use a 4 digit pin to login.

I bought a FILCO keyboard when I moved to Japan in 2009....I think it was ~3000 yen at the time, was not expecting much. To my surprise it was a very nice mechanical!

Last year I went back and decided to get another as the old one's keys are quite worn off now and it did have some wine spilled on it that one time; same keyboard cost ~10000 yen so I decided to go with an upgrade, different switches, US layout but stayed with the brand.

Sad to hear this :(
