This is also the same company who uses electron for their tooling rather than platform specific binaries generated by Opus! If their LLMs are that good why do they need to use electron?

In India they (novodisk and other patent holders) have ruled out price reduction.
But I suppose they also have to reduce price some or the other day.
In India a few glp1 drugs are launching tomorrow. So I think they already got approval

It just did. The patent expired on March 20 in India.
There are 10+ firms vying ro bring a generic glp1 anywhere the patent has expired. How effective these generics will be is yet to be seen.
This might cause a lot of problems because some people are taking glp1 for "my wedding is in 1 month and I gotta reduce 10kg by then"

> AI atm is not good without proper steering and most importantly AI doesn't decide what to build.
Yes that's my point. Altman and Anthropic pretend that everyone will be jobless and AI is God. They say their AI writes a new version of AI
But this proves that even they don't use their own product because beyond the hype, it's simply not there yet.

That's the cognitive dissonance
How can two things be the same:
Iur AI will replace every SWE in the next 5yrs
Our tooling is bad
We need to buy a company that brought a revolution in python tooling
If LLMs and GTP5 codex is soo good then how isn't all tooling related to OpenAI ebinf written by it?
Same goes for Claude. They say Claude writes Claude... Why isn't Claude Code then writtten by Claude in such a way that it has a platform specific optimized binary rather than an Electron app.
It's almost as if they're generating hype for their sales/valuation

Democracies also have an independent media that can name, shame and investigate.
In autocracies (outright or electoral), the media is used to bash only those who oppose the supreme leader.
That's why when projects are late under opposition its "corruption" or "policy paralysis"
But when the same happens under the party that's ruling via electoral autocracy, it's a "delayed gift"
