Initially I had thought so too. But later I realized that it’s quite easy to do so when you force-deprecate the old product. There was no real choice, the old IDE simply stopped working after a certain cutoff date. Adoption metrics felt forced and pushed, but were presented as if users were actively and willingly choosing the newer IDE.

Since it is an agent, I wonder why they didn’t go with “Claude Coworker” instead.

Creative idea, however most calendar software clients offer meeting start times rounded to increments of 15 min.

Setting meetings to start at :05 or :20 or :35 or :50 adds friction.

Defaults matter for habit formation.

There is your golden opportunity to point out internal Gemini to the Calendar codebase and make it become reality.

It is amazing to see a modern take on LaTeX.

Previously I had great success with LyX (https://www.lyx.org/), which builds on top of LaTeX. The experience of typesetting beamer slides with it is relatively user-friendly.

A decent usage example of Typst is https://rendercv.com/. It is a set of Typst templates to build resumés.

Adding the usual disclaimer that yay is an AUR helper and thus not officially supported by Arch. Arch users are advised to read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository instead. If you know what you're doing, of course using yay should be fine as well.
