> we showed..
> we aspire...
> we were backstabbed...
> we are blocked...
> we are building...
> we have to...
> we had to...
> we are crazy...
It's not 'we,' it's just your opinion, comrade. If the USA were actually run by people with views the same as yours, it'd be no different from Russia or China. But thankfully, there are still many who get that life is about collaboration and compromise, who don't live in fear nor have the dream of domination.

I understand how, from a technical POV, electricity and electrification could be considered great news.
But I don't see how this is good news at all from a societal POV.
Think about all the lamplighters who lost their jobs. Streetlights just turn on now? Lamplighting used to be considered a stable job! And what about the ice cutters…
For real tho, it's not like there's nothing left to do — we still have potholes to fix, t-shirts to fold and illnesses to cure.
Just the fact that many people continue to believe that wars are justified by resource scarcity shows we need technological progress.

In the Rubic's cube example, to solve the cube gemini2.5 just uses the memorized scrambling sequence:
// --- Solve Function ---
function solveCube() {
  if (isAnimating || scrambleSequence.length === 0) return;

  // Reverse the scramble sequence
  const solveSequence = scrambleSequence
    .slice()
    .reverse()
    .map((move) => {
      if (move.endsWith("'")) return move.slice(0, 1); // U' -> U
      if (move.endsWith("2")) return move; // U2 -> U2
      return move + "'"; // U -> U'
    });

  let promiseChain = Promise.resolve();
  solveSequence.forEach((move) => {
    promiseChain = promiseChain.then(() => applyMove(move));
  });

  // Clear scramble sequence and disable solve button after solving
  promiseChain.then(() => {
    scrambleSequence = []; // Cube is now solved (theoretically)
    solveBtn.disabled = true;
    console.log("Solve complete.");
  });
}

I’m coaching elementary math / CS to a few kids of age 9-12 from my extended family and I often struggle to find or invent relevant problems for them to train on.
Do you have pointers to problem sets that I could use for this purpose?
Concrete examples of topics for which I could use problem sets:
computing angles in elementary geometry
fractions
solving linear equations
combinatorics
unit conversion

Ig. It be worth to add that total dental care costs in US are more than $160bln / year (which isn't much less than cancer spending) and my guess would be that 95% of that costs are caused by chronic infections.
