You can have Codex access Claude’s conversations trivially. The other way around not so much as OpenAI locks everything server side.

With respect, you totally are. Call it what it is - your honest criticism/opinion. Calling their work “middle of the road” and then saying they can’t get certain jobs then trying to pretend you’re being nice is just dishonest.

They could at least give back the equivalent in usage for cache invalidation. Or, you know, just the usage you would have had for the ~1-2 hours of outage. Would buy them a lot of good will and they seem comfortable throwing cash in the trash.

My only issue with Codex (Sol 5.6) is that it sometimes finds tasks on its own to solve that are definitely out of scope. like it’s always aiming for the 1.0 release when we’re still on 0.1.0a

Reverse engineering/decompilation of game binary (Tears of the Kingdom) using Ghidra for modding spanning Java (ghidra), C++ (mods), Python (scripting) and PowerShell (scripting for builds/deploys/etc.).

Fable succeeded in cases where Opus 4.8 consistently marked situations as walled/impossible.

I’ve been using it to use Ghidra to do reverse engineering for modding Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Pre-ban it would flag immediately, post-ban it _rarely_ flagged anything and when it did I realized I could just make a memory telling it to convert reverse engineering speech into game development speech, not mentioning pointers, memory, addresses and decompiling. Then the flags mostly went away.

You can sidestep flags by just compacting and then changing the model back at any rate.
