This statement isn't the issue. What is an issue is that the establishment isn't willing to have a real discussion on this topic (illegal immigration, cultural dilution, economic benefits, etc...). The rise of far right and far left rhetoric is an expected response to the status quo, where people feel pushed into opposing tribes.

Eh? In my experience logs are some of the most valuable data produced by software. Debugging, experiments, software quality, auth trails, analytics, customer support, privacy, security, audit/compliance and abuse are all seriously useful applications for logs. Throwing them away is like dumping gold.

Isn't it wiser to donate $5 mil after you've lived a full life? Giving away your future nest egg is quite a rash decision for a young person. Especially when that money will almost certainly end up mismanaged or end up in the pockets of cronies.

It's possible to hold two beliefs at once. I detest their ideology but I wouldn't dream of censoring them. If you're projecting the belief that everyone you disagree with should be censored, then you should take a look in the mirror.

I'm saying their ideology is unacceptable (anyone calling for censorship should be shunned), not the fact they're speaking their mind.

No offense, but this strawman is super telling. I don't advocate for the censorship of these employees, even if I do find what they're doing morally reprehensible.

The problem is there's very few electable parties. I'm a fan of the Brexit Party but I doubt they'd ever get a real platform to get in. My only other options are protest votes, so all incentives point to the Tories. Being part of the party (rather than an outsider) at least allows me to influence it. Hopefully Labour bounces back, but as long as they stay on their current course, they're generally unelectable for us northerners.

- Small government

- Pro free speech (or as The Guardian like to describe me, "free speech extremist")

- Equality of opportunity (but not "positive" discrimination), NHS and safety nets fit here

- Proud of our country and history, and acknowledging the bad parts without trying to destroy them

- Capitalism/free markets over intense regulation

- Pro small business and anti corporatism

- Self responsibility

So definitely not the current Tory party, but more ideologically aligned with me than any other.

Pretty much the Brexit issue and how incompetent Labour have been lately.

When I was younger I definitely favoured Labour, but drifted towards Tory/Brexit party when Brexit happened. I don't particularly like giant power structures and want small government - Labour will never give me that. I also strongly identify with core conservative values, even if the Tories don't project them very well, I don't see an alternative.

Sibling comment is fairly on point.

TL;DR: "The least worst" party (imo).
