I've seen those videos. I thought the CT held up to the abuse pretty well.
His experiments were fun to watch, but few people treat their vehicles like that, so kind of irrelevant.

Domain Hunter finds if and where you can buy the current domain name loaded in the browser.
Or if you're searching for a domain name on a registrar/aftermarket, it auto-detects the searched domain and finds the best prices.
It uses the domain inventory data aggregated by DomDB.com. And shows other info like registered extensions, keywords, DNS records, etc.
No domain lookups are ever logged - only IP addresses are logged to prevent abuse, which are deleted after 2 weeks.
Website: https://domdb.com/tools/browser-extension
Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/domain-hunter/hhpdn...
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/domain-hunter...
MS Edge: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/domain-hun...
Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/y2kWP2oEl2k

I think a more apt comparison might be a fully optioned silverado trubomax, which can range $60-$75k.
AWD CT can haul 7500 lbs, air suspension, tonneau cover, premium sound, 240v out, FSD, etc.

> Towing with an EV is terrible.
If you have to charge, it can be a pain. It's fine for towing short distance. It can tow up to 11k lbs.
> The truck bed isn't practical for anything but a lawn mower.
Hard disagree. I've hauled gravel, lumber, furniture, appliances. It can fit a 4x8 sheet of sheetrock with the tailgate down.
> When I ride in one it rides like a car.
It drives like a sports car. Literally the most fun vehicle I've ever driven.
> It doesn't look good dirty.
Disagree, I think it looks better dirty. More dystopian.
> It's also super expensive
The price for the AWD dual motor is comparable to other pickups.
It's also the safest pickup truck you can buy, according to the IIHS and NHTSA.

I like this strategy a lot, but the performance of read queries suffer if they span partitions, correct?
The issue I'm facing is a very large table, that is both write and read heavy, and the reads do not fall into a specific range of values for any particular column, so I don't think partitioning is an option.

In Bitcoin's case, public keys are only revealed during a transaction.
And every transaction completely spends the source keypairs' funds.
So the only attack vector a quantum computer could use is:
1. Observing newly broadcast/unconfirmed transactions
2. Deriving the private key(s) from the public key(s)
3. Creating and broadcasting its own transaction using the stolen keypairs before the original transaction confirms (presumably with a higher fee to win the confirmation race).
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
EDIT: correction: every transaction completely spends any selected UTXO of an associated keypair, not all of the "source keypairs' funds". Thus the attack vector also includes being able to steal from any keypair that has ever made a transaction and also has UTXOs.

Domain Watch emails you when a domain name is listed for sale on an aftermarket or its price drops.
It's like camelcamelcamel.com for domain names.
Currently supports the following "Buy It Now" aftermarkets: Afternic, Sedo, Spaceship SellerHub, Atom, Namecheap Market, Porkbun Marketplace, Gname.
You can watch up to 3 domains for 60 days with the free plan.
Support for auctions is coming soon.
Why I made this:
1. To know where and when I could buy the domains that I wanted to buy, ASAP.
2. Empower other domain name buyers with marketplace awareness, data, and an improved shopping experience.
3. To make money one day.
Feedback welcome and appreciated!
