I prefer to see the real actual food i am about to buy on menus. I hate when i get it and it looks nothing like the menu photo. But companies like mc donalds have been deceiving people for decades with help of pro photographers and designers. In this case the sign is pretty and it is clear the items are just drawings. I think it is cool for small biz owners to be able to help themselves with AI. It would probably be better if she used real actual pics of her products with a phone and asked AI to put those inbthe sign in the same stylized way.

Inference on AWS Bedrock for OpenAI models has been very slow and glitchy the last few days with today being the worst. Very long latency of over 5 minutes to first token. What's going on?

Aren't all Linux distros ultimately a bunch of scripts on top of the Linux kernel? Compiled scripts, but scripts none the less. If someone made a bash compiler maybe that would help. Reminds me of when I used to compile DOS batch files to .com executables back in the day to make my work look more important lol

GPT-4o-mini is still very relevant. It is a very capable model and very very fast and dirt cheap. Excellent for this type of stuff
