+1 I really loved Stadia

I had a good connection and sometimes I forgot I was streaming a game.

At least the died gracefully, I played for free and also got a chromecast + controller out of the deal

what if we are?

and our brain is the "billion parameter model", continuously "trining", that takes input and spits out output

I understand we as a species might be reluctant to admit that we are just matter and our thinking/consciousness is just electricity flowing

The old Amarok was amazing. I still use Clementine to this day.

I just don't like the cover art manager, everything else is jut right for me.

Things I can recommend:

- Do a German class: the biggest step up starting from nothing. If nothing else, listening to German 2-3 hours/week will help you

- http://germanforenglishspeakers.com/ for reference: essential grammar concepts

- Reading a book / watching a TV show in German: something you already know, so you won't get discouraged by lack of understanding

- Duolingo: just to have that 5-10 minutes every day. It won't get you to fluency, but it's a low-impact tool
