Equally important though, I didn't retain information quite as well when writing against a screen. I can't explain it. I wanted the system to work, but it didn't. Maybe I tried to write too verbose, more carefully than I would a paper page... hoping my more careful writing would be captured by OCR better. I don't know but it was different. Intended focus matters.

Less effort = more retention to me. Digital writing, at least at that time, was more effort to me it seems

I agree with you on this as an eventuality of risc-v. But my casual following of the space leads me to believe that a high-performance open baseline of these architectures will be available and customization/special purpose of these archs will be for purchase.

I'm hopeful some of the benefits will be contributed upstream.

As long as there is some competition in the architecture space (ARM, x86, risc-v), the more likely builders will share gains upstream to compete against rival platforms.

That's my wishful thinking at least.

What are some things that you look for in a candidate for a successful hire?

Im on an older version of android and the live photos dont have the snappiness of Apple's, but that could be a processor power issue or even stylistic choice. Particularly the length of the live photo is noticeably different.

Im not sure how Apple stores the live picture info, but having it crossplatform would be fantastic for services like these.

I believe that fraud is easier to identify and financially punish on public blockchains. Exchanges and other entities already have the ability to blacklist an address's assets and prevent them from off-ramping into fiat ms being used in future transfers. Businesses exist today to prevent payments of blacklisted assets. Compared to cash, blockchain based cryptoassets have more choice in enforcement against fraud. Also, crypto assets can be seen by all publicly on chain. It fairly easy to trace the work of cryptoasset fraudsters
