Oh wait.. canadians there’s more on the way lol, Mark Carney just posted on X for ID identification for social platforms:
Today, our government introduced new legislation to protect our kids online. Canada's Safe Social Media Act will hold social media and AI platforms accountable, make them safer, and restrict access to social media for children under 16.
https://x.com/markjcarney/status/2064846939691139082?s=46

This! More taxes and - yes - more state-controlled tech! Wait. Why stop there? Let’s just bring back the SED and the Stasi too. Also, prevent people (the rich? yeah!) leaving Europe too with big walls [1]! I love your ideas comrade! LOL. Seriously, you should read more history books (and read it to your kiddos while you're at it, please).
Canadian ER waits times:
Quickest Visits: Half of non-urgent patients are out in 2.6 hours (90% within 7.6 hours).
Serious Cases: Patients who are more ill are prioritized and seen faster, but their total visit time is longer — 90% wrap up within 10 hours.
The Bottleneck: The real crisis is for those needing admission to a hospital bed. Average waits hit 22 hours (3x the target), and 1 in 10 patients wait over two days just to get a bed.
I think Quebec province is the worst.
Source: https://www.cma.ca/healthcare-for-real/why-are-er-times-so-l...

This will never happen, or at most, it will be a half-baked clunky "federation" like today. Why? Because you will always say first: "I am Italian" and not "I am European" when introducing yourself. All the dreamy one powerful Europe will never happen because of this. Which makes sense because Europe, by definition, is multiple countries, identities and cultures!

I see it as comparing comic book (visual) vs text book (text code). You can express some visual better with comic books, but in the end, I find text books easier to define richer and complex matter.
