Interesting, this reduced memory usage in my test down from 14 MB to 12 MB, and Bun (Rust) is still at 7.2 MB, down from 10 MB with Bun (Zig).

Wouldn't the HTML Popover API be a simpler fit for the sidebar example? If it's an overlay rather than part of the document layout, popover seems to eliminate quite a bit of the positioning logic.

A good night's sleep is no longer an option for me. My area is experiencing widespread, constant ground vibrations throughout the day and night. It feels as if your whole body is vibrating. No supplement can help with that, and there's nothing the local authorities can do until the major construction projects are completed over the next few years.

One advantage of Docker is reliable host-to-container file change notifications, allowing tools like Vite inside the container to detect changes. Podman and many alternatives don’t handle this well for our web development on macOS.

Not even Tart or Apple Container support it, as far as I know. Maybe someone has found a way.

I'm saying the version from 0.17.0 -> 1.0.

While other projects, such as Astro Starlight for documentation and Hugo CMS, have not yet reached 1.0.

Why did your release jump from 0.17.0 (2026-06-08) to 1.0 in such a short time?

If I use Tailwind, BEM or Boostrap, how hard it will be to customise? Flowbite have a few pre-made UI.

Cloudflare acquiring Astro and VoidZero was unexpected. I’ve been using Astro for a solo project, which made things easier to manage.

It also came at a time when expectations for the project were starting to increase.

Some good parts, some bad practices, and a few missing pieces. I spent a lot of time auditing websites and brought all issues down to zero.

Many web and SEO agencies have let technical debt build up over the years. I raised some issues to them, but didn’t hear back.

After auditing a million websites, can we fix them? We could rebuild the web.

Actually, I can see why this blogs and the agency was created after reading their FAQs (preferred Astro and Next.js). But note that, there are multiple WebSmith site which can caught new clients to be confused.
