Just because two graphs looks similar doesn’t mean they are “same”. Shouldn’t we subtract the random bias from the real world data and see if there is any slope remaining (or something similar)?

There’s argument to be made that SWE hasn’t been cracked either. The latest models are great at coding medium sized applications, but figuring out the requirements and consolidation of domain knowledge is something still lacking

Another outsider, but Krita seem to be doing really well keeping their UX up to date. To the point where I often use it for a lot of stuff meant to be done by GIMP

Im not sure I follow. AI barely consumes energy compared to other industries and instead of focusing on the heavy hitters first wasting time on the climate impact on AI doesn’t seem useful

The less context switching LLMs of current day need to do the better they seem to perform. If I’m writing C code using an agent but my spec needs complex SQL to be retried then it’s better to give access to the spec database through MCP to prevent the LLM from going haywire

From what I read they engine caught fire right after they hit V1, so basically the only option was to take off and solve the problem in the air

As someone neurotypical I take it for granted that my feelings most often align with what’s best to fit in with society. A few times it doesn’t and I end up giving in to my feelings and do the morally wrong thing
