I don't think your strategy is as effective as you think it is for protecting your privacy online. You should also read Kagi's privacy policy before implying Kagi would harm your privacy model.

Children of Ruin is the second book in a scifi series which contains sentient octopods. The author did a marvellous job of laying out the different ways the creatures think and learn. It was very well thought out.

I won't speak to "needing" a tiling window manager but "just making the app full screen and switch between windows with 4 finger swipes does the job beautifully" - you you.

I have disabled most gestures, animations, and multiple desktops (spaces?) in macos. The swiping between each of these full screen apps is painfully slow to me. It's compounded by needing to pass through an app to get to one on the other side, meaning it could be 2 or 3 swipes before the app I need is the one on screen. When I see someone swipe the wrong direction and quickly swipe back it makes me cringe.

When I want an app on screen I don't want to perform mental calculation for how many steps away, nor do I ever want to have to pass through an app to get there.

The private torrent site crowd are very restrictive on which clients are allowed and even big names like qBit aren't safe enough to assume the version is allowed.

Source needed. Based on my reading it only tracks users if the developer has configured tracking and there is no inherent tracking.

Not sure if your response was deliberately obtuse or not, but in case it was accidental I wanted to point out that you may have missed a key word - "social" well-being.

It's one thing if listening to music makes you feel good, but another completely if listening makes you more capable of socialising. This may be more important for others than it is for you.

I loved that it was a fairly hackable watch with an always on display and battery life of more than a week. It did notifications and quick actions. No audio, touch screen, wifi, etc...

it did its job well.

Congratulations on your success. Reclaim.ai has been an incredibly valuable tool for me and my work.

I'll admit to feeling like this will be the beginning of the end for me. I love Reclaim right now, it serves its purpose very well and stays completely out of the way whilst doing it, but I don't have any love for Dropbox or the vision for the future with Dropbox.

Maybe I'm completely wrong though and you'll pull off something great. Best of luck and congrats again.

try Firefox Quantum in the phone. it's super slick and I've really been digging it. the workflow is the for everyone but because it supports 1pass filling the constant clear doesn't feel that bad

I was the Developer on Doshii (one of the companies listed in the article) for the first 2 years of it's life.

It's still Australia. It's bad everywhere.

I worked mostly in offices because I work better in offices. Most of the time I worked in the bar of another company's office. Wrote on the windows with whiteboard pens. Moved to a co-working space much later on.

I wasn't involved much in finding them but we had a few interested. When we were ready is wasn't hard to get in front of some.

Outside Australia? Outside Melbourne? Don't bother blending. You do you.

It's a mixed bad. You meet a lot of great people who are very fun and interesting. As to be expected there are also a lot of jerks who think they're hot shit. Generally more good than bad.
