It may come down to "showing your work". The post talks about how they investigated the two suspect submissions by asking them for evidence of their process, but none was forthcoming.
It may just start to become the norm for publishers to do this for all submissions, like checking references for a prospective employee.
I have very little physical evidence of any book I've ever worked on, but I'm sure I could find heaps of digital versions and notes. I hope this would be good enough although obviously it could be falsified by someone determined enough I guess (note to self, start writing notes by hand)

If we ever reach a point where we have that equivalence in media it'll be a sad day - when you can buy a ticket to a cheap but perfectly good movie written and directed by AI or you can pay a premium for something written by a human.
When the human written books cost more.

Just a few from the executive branch:
Insider trading - Using knowledge of impending policy decisions and military operations to massively profit from the stock market.
Further than this, one could argue that those policy decisions were made, or at least timed, in order to deliberately short stocks in order to reap profit. The timing of a lot of the Iran war announcements followed very suspect patterns.
Using the highest office in the land to promote personal businesses.
Awarding military contracts to companies linked with family members of the administration over other more suitable options.
We'll likely never see any accountability for the literal billions being illicitly gained by the current administration after they've left office.

> Can you imagine a venue refusing entry to former clients 2% of the time just because they’ve “improved their experience”?
Actually this happens a lot more than you'd think. Every time renovations are done without consideration for wheelchair users, it's basically an improved experience that denies a percentage of people access

Death sentence is excessive. But many people here will be comparing it to the USA where the current punishment for corruption is nothing. Literally nothing. You just get away with it in plain sight
We don't need death sentence, we just need, like, any regular sentence

Michael Maynard's tweet reads like Trump stuff. iD are obviously monumentally important in game history but I disagree with his points that the Doom, doom eternal and doom dark ages are the best fps games ever made. Doom was revolutionary, but are we really going to say the other two are up there? I don't think they'd even be in my top twenty.
I get that he's angry and hurt and defending his colleagues but telling me doom dark ages is better than half-life 2 is just picking a fight
