Yes, there's a huge debate among the DLE makers whether to add streaks and leaderboards at all. These can be stressful and actually cause players to drop. The original Wordle had none of that and that's why it was so successful.

On the other hand, not every game gets acquired by NYT and something has to pay for the bills, Wordle used to have an AWS bill 900 USD a day before the acquisition.

You're speaking of my company and I'm forever grateful.

I'm afraid to say this out loud internally because I'm afraid of the next round of layoffs and I want to keep my job. So I just keep on shipping at a high pace, building massive cognitive debt and hoping the agents will get so good in near future, that there won't be the need for understanding the codebase.

+1 on having little hope Google can pull this one up well. Recently my Android auto updated to use Gemini instead of their legacy voice command, which already sucked, and it got significantly worse, it's trying to play songs on Audible and Libro.fm at random, while I even have Spotify running. And I'm on Pixel 10 Pro! When asking to play a soundtrack of a movie, it starts to play random cover instead of the official thing, just no idea how it can be so bad.

Hi, I really like the concept of your game, but it looks like it's not a daily game. It's just unlimited play as far as I was able to test it, so I won't be adding it to the collection unfortunately. But please let me know when you add a "daily" play to it and I'll list it!

It's crazy, the world of Wordle style games is totally booming. After I made my own daily game, I started to be interested in the area, I started to collect games I found interesting and put together a directory. I shared it here and there and add a 'submit a game' button, I'm having about 3-5 new games submitted every single week, similarly in the r/wordgames there's a new game concept launched multiple times a week. This sector is totally booming. The cost of developing a game is close to 0 and all the non-coder people who had an idea are now shipping daily games. It's wild and exciting.
