I'm a firearms enthusiast and was shocked to read that the rotating trigger mechanism wasn't outlawed. It almost definitely will be after this massacre.

I also think that this is a strong case of genetics at play considering that the shooter didn't even spend time with his bank robber father. The psychopath apple didn't fall far from the psychopath tree.

I think it's funny that you chose hover boards. I haven't seen one in use in any major US city I've visited this year. I'm sure some people still use them, but thanks to terrible Chinese engineering that caused fires and failures, I don't know anyone that's bought one after the first couple of months that they were a fad.

I noticed that people pushing Philadelphia never mention its bad crime rate. Amazon might not be explicitly mentioning that in the criteria, but I'm sure it can't help.

I agree. So far my grocery experience with Amazon has been awful. Two items were returned by the shipper due to damage before they even got to my house. Another was crushed when it got to my house because Amazon's packaging was terrible. They kept trying to give me a refund instead of a replacement and all I could say was "I ordered this food because I wanted to buy it and eat it, why would I just want my money back?". So if that's how they manage to run Whole Foods, then I guess I'm all-in on Trader Joe's.

I saw the FLIP when I was sailing one time. If I hadn't previously read about it I probably would have called the coast guard because it looked like a ship going down.

I really hope that some massive lawsuits finally put and end to this. Amazon deserves anything bad that comes their way. The amount of fake items I've received from them is awful.

Most likely there won't be any developments until the fall when the effects of the FTC settlement are reported in Herbalife's earnings. But that will only show how well they evaded the judgment since the FTC has been lacking on the enforcement front for a long time.

Once again the 9th circuit makes a ridiculous decision that hopefully gets overturned. The fact that they sided with Facebook in that lawsuit shows how out-of-touch they are with reality. Hopefully it gets overturned.

Why don't you sue them? It's a government agency, and I believe that the data should be available under New York's public records laws (I only have limited experience with NY's laws and IANAL). From personal experience, being nice to a government agency never got me anywhere, but our lawyer has a 95% win rate against them.
