"At par with PS5.." comparing hardware specs with a console loved by millions and into year 6 of it's lifecycle. I'd rather play my PS5 titles on a PS5 or a portal than on the steam machine. Steam deck is dated, went with the portal and love it.

What people write in Boss's Day cards

Tomorrow (Oct 16) is Boss’s Day. While looking through a few hundred digital cards on Bravoboard, we noticed pattern in how people talk about their bosses.

Most messages weren’t about authority or achievement. Instead, they focused on patience, support, humor, and calm leadership. A few examples:

"Thanks for leading us through these difficult times and driving a culture of cost-effective decisions."

"Happy Boss’s Day Momma Bear, no one deserves it more than you."

"Your guidance and support create a positive atmosphere that inspires us all."

I wholeheartedly agree with OP, the article is very timely and illustrates the mis-direction of AI tooling clearly. I often find myself and my kids asking LLMs "don't tell me the answer, work with me to resolve it" that is a much richer experience than seeing a fully baked out response to my question. I hope we see grater adoption of OPs EDGE framework in AI interactions.

I'm starting out as well. If you prefer coding in python, raspberry pi or anything adafruit is a good place to start. If you're cool with c/c++ Arduino ecosystem is quite mature . I decided to stick to the former so it's a less steeper learning curve for me and my little one. Get a BBC Micro:bit v2 and/or a CircuitPlayground Express. Both have a ton of sensors on board (temp, tilt, light, humidity etc) and some leds/neo-pixels to play around. Once you play with some of that, and want to get your hands dirty with breadboarding and soldering, get a basic kit (e.g. raspberry pi pico etc) and use MakeCode to try out some simple circuits with your microbit or circuitplayground express as the signal provider, play with servos, hobby motors, do some basic projects. Once you feel you're a bit proficient, might one to check out LeRobot for an open source robotic arm that you could train with reinfocement learning.. this is not exhaustive or the only path, there's many others, this is just my 2cents. Hope this helps!
