The whole ad is vague slop tbh, I can see why it wasn't allowed to air, also I don't know why people fixate on CCTV when the vast majority of it is used by private companies and the government doesn't have access to it without a request, there isn't any mass surveillance in this case just business owners managing risk and monitoring for crimes on their property

Honestly, I've never known any company that has a good promotion and career development structure. Most shoehorn you into management roles or force you to jump through hoops to get a promotion so nowadays I don't care as long as I get a decent salary, 33 days of annual leave and they let me take off 3 weeks to go to Japan every year

And Microsoft don't care in the slightest, they have lots of market share so they have been pivoting to the enshittification phase especially over the past few years... the UX is still a cluster fuck but hey there's plenty of space for ads and AI integration now

We have IVA in the UK but it is mostly used to import Japanese cars at the moment because you only need a few modifications to most cars (fog lights, indicators) and the Yen is weak at the moment so a lot of people are importing cars like the Suzuki Jimny which meet our standards but aren't sold due to Europe wide emissions regulations. You would have to do a lot more to an American car because the safety standards are different so it isn't an attractive option unless you really want a specific vehicle at any cost.

Parents won't allow tough grading lets be honest, they just like how it sounds on paper. There's far too many kids nowadays with parents who think they can do no wrong terrorising classrooms and sapping attention from students who actually put the effort in but if you actually contact their parents and tell them maybe their kid shouldn't assault other people or put some more effort in to get better grades they enter this weird denial state and lash out and their kid keeps up the bad behaviour.

You seem to be prejudice and cherry picking to backup your opinion judging from the way your post reads and the random unhinged comments on Spain for some reason, HN is attracting more pseudo-intellectuals these days unfortunately. I don't think anyone can help you apart from maybe a therapist but getting laid and interacting with people outside in a non-transactional may help

I don't know the law in your country but most forms of credit have a 'cooling off' period where you can return the money or asset and reset the credit agreement within a certain time but I'm not sure if doing it a lot in a small period of time would flag to a future creditor though.
