<p>Friends don't let friends use sites like this.<p>The page consists of ~50% ads, interleaved with the actual content. <p>I think it's because there are a lot of people writing articles about the benefits of running local models. I think it's fair to say that there are daily threads on HN singing the praises or local inference. I also see people buying new hardware where the main trigger is ability to run local models.</p>

<p>I took a look at the code, it showed the usual tells for slop, hence my question.<p>Claude is well suited for many things, it does not mean that it never is used to generate slop.<p>Just read the linked Readme if you don't want to read the code, it's the usual slop.</p>

I know, dark mode is cool, but for me it causes immediate eye strain.<p>I have read that people with astigmatism will often have an easier time reading light mode. Something like 30% of adults have that issue.<p>Just wanted to provide the feedback so you're aware.</p>
