It's more telling of the state of economy right now than AI.
Capital is simply going from bubble to bubble to pop. It was NFTs and Web3, then the metaverse, now it's AI. You need a new speculative product, market demand be damned. Ultimately the tech itself is inconsequential. Sure, AI is somehow more useful than an hashed png picture of a monkey smoking a joint, but the AI frenzy would've happened anyway.
I can imagine some other alternate universe where it's the turn of something already commonplace instead, like cloud computing; and the same CEOs who are screaming right now that we need to burn the ecosystem to build their new AI data centers would've told us that "The Cloud is inevitable", and that we need to spend 80% of the GDP to finance their AWS competitors.

I'm 174cm and one ugly motherfucker at that, and yet some of the most beautiful women I've ever met asked me out by the simple virtue of being a somewhat decent and caring human being. There's an interview where Elle Fanning straight up admits that the 167cm tall Jack Black is one of the most fascinating men she's ever met[1].
I can't believe there are communities that genuinely listen to someone like Clavicular Whatever or Andrew Tate for advice when there's an inordinate amount of empirical evidence that shows that the importance of mere appearances like height is almost negligible compared to attitude and personality when we talk about seduction (or even simple human interaction).
Like... yes, join that theatre or dance class, and don't be afraid to look goofy or ridicule when you show your sensitive, fragile or funny side. Sure, it will be rough and it will probably hurt, often and repeatedly, at the beginning. But in the long term it's surely more effective than moping around saying girls don't like you while paying someone to enlarge your jaw or whatever.
[1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KW_yQp02W0

You know what's even worse? That if he had tried any of those "here look! we can write it for you!" tools he’d have found out that they don't even work.
Gmail summaries are nonsensical most of the times. The suggested replies completely miss the intent of the original message I was trying to write.
Most AI integrations around are basically alpha-quality code, that if there wasn't this forced pressure to adopt AI, AI, AI at any cost, they wouldn't have been shipped in this state at all.

I have to admit, I've tried using Heroic Launcher both on macOS and on a Steam Deck and in both cases the experience has been rather frustrating. Maybe I was just unlucky, but any game I tried was broken in a way or another, or stopped working with no clear explanation (weird segfaults at start) just a few days later.
I've tried GOG DOS Games, GOG Windows Games, Steam Games under Proton, nothing was particularly usable.
Got the very same games working under Faugus Launcher and Dosbox-X. The UX is a bit worse but my games run without any issues, and I've stuck with those since then.
