The problem is R&D. Tesla absolutely is not and will not compromise on all that self driving car R&D and other engineering work.

And that's expensive.

30 year fixed mortgages are actually not as good of an idea as you'd think.

I actually spent a significant part of my early career working with real estate economists.

A bunch of economists I know actually lost money fixing their mortgages in 2008. They fixed at too high a rate and weren't prepared for the low interest rates environment.

Maybe for context, the fact that high-ranking public servants in the West are known as "Mandarins" should indicate the reputation of Chinese government officials for political intrigue.

I thought for awhile those guys got lucky and skip office politics.

Then I realize that PhD level IQs + pressure to get into the fancy journals means that the politics is 古典小說 tier.

If you're a fully employed professional of some means, which a huge amount of folk reading this are.

Pay for your shareware software. Usually with independent SaaS software, after I've used software for 6+ months or more, I pay for the lifetime license.

It's just polite.
