(May 2026)"]]>I'm a senior level dev looking at the senior role, but it says 2-3 years of python experience at minimum. I don't have that, so I thought I'd look at the mid-level role which says "3-6 years developing database-driven web applications with (preferably) Python" but then "candidates without Python experience may still be considered if they have experience with similar tech."

How True is this? Have you hired anyone before with experience but that didn't have a lot of python experience? I've mostly worked in node, but I've done a little with python and could start some django courses this weekend if you're actually giving people shots here.
