I use Roam differently:

- Most of what I write goes into daily notes in a flat structure, using bi-directional links for tagging.

- If a bi-directional link is used often, only then I clean up my linked notes into the page and starring the page if necessary for quick access.

I never speculate in other currencies.

1. I don't know of any other way send and receive USD(USDC) anywhere in the world with instant settlement for < $0.00025. Previously used Payoneer and Paypal which has much higher % fees (also USDC trades at ~6% premium in my country :D).

2. Good ways to earn yield on USDC on exchanges and smart contracts.
