I have just spent this weekend by myself, doing something I love. Coding. Vibing.
I had this idea. It has been with me for a long time now, and I really wanted to see it realized. And I mostly have;
maybe more efficiently than I could have done on my own.
And yet, it feels unfulfilling.

And I have used this account daily since I created it. Not having this increase from their end seems very unprofessional.

We use the same printers and printer drivers as everyone else in the world. So it does actually default to Letter, and you usually have to change it upon first install. I guess it all comes down to who wrote the printer driver.

The sign at Hell train station says "Hell Gods-expedition" (which is a slightly old Norwegian spelling meaning something like "Hell - Goods reception").

Thank you for you purchase. I'm the author of MaxTo.
I'm not too worried about the competition here; MaxTo's feature set is expanding and will remain quite a bit more powerful than FancyZones for the overseeable future. :)

Author of MaxTo here. Looks similar, but we have something in the works for MaxTo that makes it much more powerful.
See my comment above for details, or shoot me an e-mail at the support address for a preview.

Author of MaxTo here. It is very much alive, but there is just me working on it so progress is sometimes slow.
There are some very cool things coming in the next release:
- support for different triggers, that lets you run specific commands in response to windows events. Basically our recipes feature extended quite a bit.
- WinSplit-like hotkeys for those who liked those. Configurable.
- lots of these small quality of life improvements
We are getting closer to a public preview of this, but shoot me an e-mail for a private preview.

Full disclosure: I am the author of MaxTo.
Have you looked at MaxTo? https://maxto.net
It does not work in the exact same manner as i3wm does; it lets you decide on a set of regions that windows are maximized into (the regions can be a non-uniform grid). This lets you focus on one task at a time. It has great support for hotkeys. At the moment I believe MaxTo is the closest you'll get to i3 on Windows.
