The place has 90 million people, how do you even deal with this without throwing the whole place into chaos?

Besides, after this the collective west has no moral high-ground anymore, the global south will resent us more than ever. If other countries go to aggressive wars, our condemnation is worthless.

Both are hucksters, although Amodei's qualifications are pretty good, he actually is a scientist. Out of these I think Hassabis is my favorite

I will gladly switch to that one if their CEO is less of sociopath than Altman and god forbid Amodei. In fact I use some of the new Chinese models at home and compared to Opus 4.6 AGI, the difference is getting less. Codex 5.3 xhigh is already better than opus anyway.

The competition is good though, it will push down the prices for all of us. At some point being behind 5% won’t have much practical difference. Most people won’t even notice it.

At least with Altman you know the guy just wants money, with Amodei you get this grandstanding and 6 more months fear mongering every 6 months and it is insufferable. Worst person in the AI space BY FAR. Hope the Chinese open source models get so good that these ghouls lose everything.

The product is actually good though, I could pay for it if Amodei just shut up but by principle I won't now and just stick with codex.

For sure there will be coverage if the Epstein class decides to go to war with Iran on behalf of Israel who obviously holds the blackmail on this, surprisingly few mentions on mainstream media about the Mossad honeypot that the Epstein setup was btw.

North Korea has nukes now and the threats to them have surprisingly gone quiet, I wonder why? Trump is instead writing love letters to Kim Jong-un.. Apparently having nukes is quite a good insurance policy.
